we love engagement sessions!  they are usually the first time we get to “work” with our couples. it’s the first time they get to be in front of our cameras and see how we work. engagement sessions are a great way to break the ice and get everyone excited and ready for the wedding day. during our engagement sessions we just try to have as much fun as possible while getting to know one another, oh, and we get some great images of the couple just being themselves too. there’s no pressure or schedule to follow, just lots of laughs and happy faces.    

Our sister site Modern Photographers has some exciting news! The whole team has been working very hard for several months to bring the Modern Photographers site to life and now that the site is up, and already a huge success, we’re teaming up with Southern Weddings Magazine for their premier issue.  

Just in case you haven’t heard, Modern Photographers is an awesome place to find new, fresh and modern photographers that have each gone through an approval process based on reputation, skill and artistic ability.  

Straight from the Modern Photographers site, “Modern Photographers was created to give those looking for artistic professionals a place to connect with qualified working visual artists”.   It really is a great resource for anyone seeking professional, proven, contemporary photographers.
